Heat pump servicing and maintenance for commercial buildings

Heat pump servicing in a commercial building covers regular inspections, checks of operation and operating parameters, the changeover between heating and cooling, leak checks of the refrigerant circuit, and fault diagnostics and repairs. It is intended for companies, building owners and facility managers with large heat pumps. We work across Slovenia.

What heat pump servicing includes

  • Servicing and preventive maintenance
  • Checks of operation and operating parameters
  • Changeover between cooling and heating
  • Leak check and refrigerant charge check
  • Heat exchanger cleaning
  • Fault diagnostics and repairs

The heat pump in both modes

In a commercial building, a heat pump often provides both heating and cooling. During an inspection we check operation in both modes, the operating parameters, the control settings and the condition of the finned air coil.

Clivet and Daikin heat pump service

As an authorised service partner for Clivet and Daikin, we service and maintain heat pumps from both manufacturers. We also service equipment from other manufacturers.

  • Clivet
  • Daikin

What we inspect on a heat pump

During a service visit we inspect the main assemblies of the unit.

  2. Finned air coil

Checking the fins are clean and the condensate drains away.

  4. Refrigerant circuit

Leak check, refrigerant charge check and four-way valve operation.

Autumn

Before the heating season

Changeover to heating, checks of operation and operating parameters, a leak check of the refrigerant circuit and a review of the controls.

Spring

Before the cooling season

Changeover to cooling, cleaning of the finned air coil and checks of operation in cooling mode.

Frequently asked questions

How often does a heat pump need servicing?

For heat pumps in commercial buildings we recommend two inspections a year, at the changeover to heating and at the changeover to cooling. We also follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Do you also handle the changeover between heating and cooling?

Yes. The changeover between modes is part of our service, and we check that the unit works correctly in the new mode.

Does a heat pump need a refrigerant leak check?

For equipment where F-gas legislation requires it, we carry out the periodic refrigerant leak check and issue a certificate. Leak checks are mandatory for equipment containing 5 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent or more of F-gases (Regulation (EU) 2024/573).

Do you service Clivet and Daikin heat pumps?

Yes. We are an authorised service partner for Clivet and Daikin. We also service equipment from other manufacturers.

Do you also work outside Ljubljana?

Yes, we provide servicing and maintenance across the whole of Slovenia.
