AHU servicing covers inspection of the unit and its controls, filter checks and replacement, checks of belts and fans, heat exchanger cleaning, and inspection of the ductwork and grilles. It is intended for companies, building owners and facility managers with central ventilation systems. We service air handling units and ventilation units across Slovenia.

What AHU and ventilation unit servicing includes

  • Inspection of the unit and its controls
  • Air filter condition checks and filter replacement where needed
  • Checks of belts and of motor and fan operation
  • Heat exchanger cleaning and disinfection
  • Inspection of ductwork and air distribution
  • Inspection of intake and exhaust grilles
  • Fault diagnostics and repairs

Looking after the ventilation system between services

Between service visits we recommend monitoring how dirty the air filters are, the condition of the belts and how the fans are running. Once or twice a year, a technician inspects the unit and its controls and carries out the other checks on the list.

What the law requires

For ventilation units and systems in buildings covered by the Slovenian Rules on ventilation and air-conditioning of buildings, a regular inspection is required at least once a year unless the operating instructions specify otherwise. The findings are entered in an inspection log kept by the system operator.
