Chiller servicing and maintenance

Chiller servicing covers preventive inspections, seasonal start-up and shutdown, periodic refrigerant leak checks, and fault diagnostics and repairs. It is intended for companies, building owners and facility managers whose buildings are cooled by a chiller. We service and maintain chillers across Slovenia.

What chiller servicing includes

  • Inspection and preventive maintenance
  • Periodic refrigerant leak checks with certificate
  • Seasonal start-up and shutdown
  • Preparing the chiller for winter
  • Inspection and cleaning of heat exchangers
  • Leak testing and refrigerant top-up
  • Fault diagnostics and repairs

The chiller during the season

During the season we monitor the chiller’s operating parameters, the condition of the condenser fins and how the fans are running. We record any deviations and agree the necessary work with you.

Clivet and Daikin chiller service

As an authorised service partner for Clivet and Daikin, we service and maintain chillers from both manufacturers. We also service equipment from other manufacturers.

  • Clivet
  • Daikin

What we inspect on a chiller

During a service visit we inspect the main assemblies of the unit.

We recommend two inspections a year: at the start and at the end of the season

Spring

Before the cooling season

We recommend an inspection by a qualified technician before the cooling season starts. The periodic refrigerant leak check is carried out at the same time. We issue a certificate for the completed refrigerant leak check.

Autumn

At the end of the cooling season

At the end of the season the cooling system must be shut down correctly, and usually the heating system is switched over or started. A leak check and other work that keeps the circuit tight are recommended. Regular checks allow refrigerant leaks to be detected early.

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to service a chiller?

We recommend two inspections a year – in spring, before the cooling season starts, and in autumn, at the end of the season.

Will I receive a refrigerant leak check certificate?

Yes. We issue a certificate for the completed refrigerant leak check. Leak checks are mandatory for equipment containing 5 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent or more of F-gases (Regulation (EU) 2024/573).

Do you service Clivet and Daikin chillers?

Yes. We are an authorised service partner for Clivet and Daikin. We also service equipment from other manufacturers.

Do you also work outside Ljubljana?

Yes, we provide servicing and maintenance across the whole of Slovenia.
